Styling: Day to Night Look

Today, I am going to show you how to take simple key items from a day to night look. In both outfits I have on the same floppy hat, monogrammed necklace and black booties. Floppy hats are very popular for the fall and a super cute accessory.

For the day look: It is a great outfit to go out and grab coffee with your bestie. It's cute and comfortable!

Halloweekend 2015

This year, I went out every night of Halloween weekend. Needless to say that Sunday was sleeping all day, I was so tired. My costumes were very easy and only consist of three keys items or less.

THURSDAY NIGHT
I was Daisy Buchanan from The Great Gatsby

All you need is a sparkly/ Gatsby inspired dress, pearls and a head piece.

FRIDAY NIGHT
I was Batman

This costume was the easiest out of all three because I just wore my batman shirt, a black skirt and I happened to have a batman bow from cheerleading. But, you can get a batman mask and/or wear leather pants.

SATURDAY NIGHT
I was an Ice Queen

This was my favorite costume, I had fun with the makeup. I pretty much put white all over my face. Wore a white shirt with safe pined snowflakes on my boobs, a blue/sliver tutu and an ice looking crown. I also made my ice wand out of tin foil and taped snowflakes at the top.

Enjoyed you had a great Halloween!

Happy Sexy Halloween!

Hey everyone Halloween is coming up sooner rather than later, I worked with AdoreMe.com to come up with easy costume ideas. Adore Me is a New York based lingerie retailer that makes beautiful, affordable lingerie for every body. They sell everything from bras & panties, sleepwear, corsets and anything in-between. Get your first set for only $24.95 with free shipping both ways!

The White Swan is made with the Kira corset and a white tutu (learn how to make one here). Pull your hair in a bun and make a simple clip with feathers and some little glitter for a great look.

Light Pink Nail Polish

For the Mermaid costume let your imagine run wild! Start with a Gwen Contour and hot glue different pearls and shells along the seam or anywhere on the bra. Even have it hang off the underwire or the straps. Add a sparkly skirt, some fun makeup and hair and you're ready to go.

Pearls Loose and String
Assortment of Shells

The Tiffany box is the easiest costume to make with this Kady corset, the bow is already on it! Throw on a pearl necklace and a tiffany blue skirt to complete the outfit.

The Cat Women costume is for that girl that is searching for that seductive look. Start with the Lorelai lingerie and add cat ears/mask, leather pants/boots and a bold red lip and you're ready for the night!

The Black Lorelai
Cat Ears
Black Mask
Black Leather Pants
Tall Leather Boots

Adore Me also has even more Halloween Costumes on there site. Plus, you can get a free tote with your first set just use the code FALLTOTE25

Interning at StyleWeek Northeast

This past week I worked as an intern at StyleWeek. StyleWeek is the Northeast’s fashion week that will help up and coming designers to connect with the community, buyers and press in the industry.  I loved being part of the StyleWeek team I was honored that they picked me to be one of their interns.
I was part of the front of house interns, which consists of checking everyone in, finding what seat they are and putting their waistband on.  It was pretty cool because after the first two days we started to remember the people’s names that came everyday. My favorite part was seeing what all of the guests were wearing. Some went for a classic look while others went all out for a more extreme look.
After everyone was signed up we were able to go over and watch all of the shows. It was a great experience because some nights we were able to fill in the empty front row seats and watch from the seats instead of standing in the back. This was my first real fashion show experience and I loved every second of it. There were some designers that I loved and wished that I had the money to go out and buy all there clothes. Than there were some designers that just weren’t my taste. The designers I loved were Carissa Lynn Designs, Clothes Horse Clothing by Elden XO and Stetkiewicz by Amy Stetkiewicz.

Over all, I had a super busy and stressful week but it was worth it because I meet so many amazing people and made some great connections with the StyleWeek staff!

Here are some pictures I took throughout the week. There were three designers that showed there collections each night and it went on for 5 days.
