This year, I took on the role as the Fashion Show Coordinator for International Fashion Society at my college, Johnson & Wales University. We put together a fashion show every year of student and/or local designers. All the proceeds from the show with be donated to the Susan Joan Cox Revocable Trust and Ethan Henry Lecours Foundation. This year our theme is going to be whimsical, romantic and fairly like.
The show will take place at Pespi Forum at Johnson & Wales University on March 11, 2016 from 6-9pm. We are in the works of finding designers for the show who are willing to showcase any pieces that they have ready to show!
We are looking to have at least 7-8 looks per designer and we are going to have a model casting of student models but if you are more comfortable with bringing your own models that's fine! We would like for the designers to attend the fashion show dress rehearsals but if you can only attend the actual fashion show date, March 11 we can make accommodations!
So, if you live or are near the Providence, Rhode Island area we would love to showcase your fashion pieces in our upcoming fashion show! All of the designers must send me pictures of their looks (their sketches or their final designs) by email by this Sunday.
